The mobility objective of the PDUIF has been set to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from travel by 20% in Île-de-France over the period 2010-2020. Conforming as well to the commitment made at the national level.

In a context of economic growth of 7% between 2010 to 2020, as a result of demographic change and urban development, the PDUIF aims to achieve :

• a 2% reduction in individual motorized trips;
• a 20% increase in the use of other transport and 10% walking growth.
