Line based flows and volumes map
Description
The line-based flows and volumes map allows to visualise aggregated linear data and analyse it for trends and patterns using interactive filtering through charts of different types and through map selection (exploratory explanation). It can be used for a spatial and temporal analysis of any linear (or other vector-based) data such as traffic intensity or traffic flow on road segments.
When best to use
to discover trends and patterns in large historical data such as traffic intensity data or floating car data (FCD)
